My one major takeaway from these readings is how much it benefits ourselves and our students to eliminate the fear of trying new things. Going into new projects aware we may make mistakes, being willing to dust ourselves off and try again when things go wrong, these are lessons we all should keep in mind as both artists and educators. Students will learn from our example, and it serves them well for us to focus on the process or our art rather than the end result.
